Accessibility statement
The Assistive Technology Portal is designed to meet WCAG 2.2 Level AA, and to work with assistive technologies including screen readers (NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver, TalkBack), screen magnifiers, keyboard-only navigation, switch access and voice control.
What we provide
- A skip link, clear landmarks and a correct heading order on every page.
- Adjustable text size, high-contrast and dark themes, an Easy-Read mode and reduce-motion — all in the accessibility settings.
- Required alternative text on every product image and captions or transcripts on every video.
- Visible focus indicators, large touch targets, and full keyboard operability.
- Plain language and honest pricing in Indian rupees.
Standards we aim to meet
We target conformance with WCAG 2.2 Level AA, the standard referenced by accessibility laws around the world, including:
- the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Section 508 in the United States;
- the European Accessibility Act and the EN 301 549 harmonised standard in the EU;
- the Equality Act 2010 in the United Kingdom; and
- the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (RPwD) Act, 2016 in India.
This is a self-assessment and a statement of intent; we have not yet been independently certified. We carry out ongoing internal WCAG reviews and welcome external testing.
