Assistance to Disabled Persons for Purchase/Fitting of Aids & Appliances. Helps eligible persons with disabilities get modern, standard assistive devices free or at subsidised cost.

Who is eligible

Indian citizen of any age with a 40% disability certificate, holding Aadhaar and UDID, with monthly income not exceeding ₹30,000.

What you get

Aids and appliances such as wheelchairs, hearing aids, cochlear implants, low-vision aids, prostheses, and assistive learning kits — free or at 50% cost depending on income.

How to apply

Through implementing agencies (ALIMCO, CRCs, DDRCs, NGOs) and the ADIP/ARJUN portal.
