Tax-advantaged savings accounts that let eligible people with disabilities save and pay for qualified disability expenses — including assistive technology — without losing means-tested benefits like SSI or Medicaid.

Who is eligible

People whose disability began before age 26 (expanding to 46 from 2026), typically receiving SSI/SSDI or with a similar certification.

What you get
